| Born in England, Frances Ransley has lived in Papamoa, New Zealand for over 30 years. She has always drawn since childhood but thought her drawings would be spoilt if painted. From the late 90’s, attending some evening classes and workshops and tutored by Garry Osborn at ArtLife Academy, Frances has now become a talented artist in oils, acrylics and pastels. Her love of the beach environment at Papamoa shows through much of her work which has led to acquiring many commissions. She will take up the challenge of any subject, which has included child portraits and murals.
